Ph.D. Università di Wisconsin-Madison, Professor of Economics at the University of Turin and Fellow del Collegio Carlo Alberto. She is also Fellow of CEPR, CESIFO e IZA and member of HCEO. From 2012 to 2020 she has been Board Member of Compagnia di San Paolo and member of the Scientific Council of Confindustria. Her main interests are in labor economics and economics of the family. She is Associate Editor del Journal of Human Capital and Review of Economics of the Household. From 2000 she is Director of the Center CHILD and from 2020 of the Impact Evaluation Unit of Collegio Carlo Alberto. In 2007 she was awarded of the Order of the Merit from the President of the Italian Repubblica and in 2021 she won the Tarantelli Prize for her scientific work in labor economics.
