26 January 2024
The initiative, now in its 12th edition, has been developed this year as well in collaboration with the Foundation for Schools.
From May 30th to June 2nd, 2024, the International Festival of Economics in Turin returns, an initiative designed and conceived by Laterza Publishers and organized with the Turin Local Committee (TOLC), as part of Turin Futura.
The event, directed by Tito Boeri, will this year revolve around the theme “Who Owns Knowledge” and will also host the EconoMia Contest.
The contest is open to all students in the final two years of Italian secondary schools, including Licei, Technical Institutes, Professional Institutes, and the final year of regional Vocational Education and Training (VET). Prizes include €200 and a free pass to the 2024 International Festival of Economics in Turin, where winners will be awarded during a dedicated ceremony.
The prize and expenses for the hospitality of the 20 winners – covering travel, meals, and accommodation for three days and two nights in Turin during the festival – will be fully funded by the Foundation for Schools of the Compagnia di San Paolo.
