Laura Bottazzi is a Full Professor of Political Economy at the Department of Economics of the University of Bologna. She obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Economic and Social Sciences from Bocconi University and a Ph.D. in Political Economy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Boston. She is a research fellow at IGIER-Bocconi, CEPR, and ICGI. Her research interests revolve around various aspects of finance and international macroeconomics. Her research has been awarded the EEA Hicks-Tinbergen Medal in 1998 and the Nasdaq Award in 2006.
