Bio

Adrian Wooldridge works for Bloomberg Opinion as the global business columnist. Before moving to Bloomberg he worked for The Economist for thirty-two years, writing the Lexington, Schumpeter and Bagehot columns. He was educated at Balliol College, Oxford, where he was awarded First Class Honours in modern history, and All Souls College, Oxford, where he held a prize fellowship and was awarded a D.Phil. He is the author or co-author of 11 books, including The Witch Doctors, The Company, The Right Nation, God is Back, The Great Disruption and, most recently, The Aristocracy of Talent: How Meritocracy Made the Modern World.
