Andrew J. Scott is Director of Economics at the “Ellison Institute of Technology and Professor of Economics at the London Business School. He is also a Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research and co-founder of The Longevity Forum. He obtained his Ph.D. from” Oxford University and has previously taught at Oxford, Harvard, and the London School of Economics. His research focuses on the “economics of longevity and” aging and is published in numerous leading academic journals. He is the author of The Longevity Imperative (2024) and the global bestseller The Hundred Year Life (2016), both finalists for the Financial Times Business Book of the Year Award. Scott has worked as a consultant with companies, governments, and international organizations. His work is often cited in international media. His goal is to understand how to adapt to build a longevity society, where life is not only longer but also healthier, more productive, and active over time.
