François Bourguignon è professore emerito di Economia alla Paris School of Economics e Global Professor alla New York University di Abu Dhabi. È stato direttore della Paris School of Economics dal 2007 al 2013. In precedenza è stato capo economista e vicepresidente senior della Banca Mondiale a Washington.

François Bourguignon is emeritus professor of economics at the Paris School of Economics and a Global Professor at the New York University in Abu Dhabi. He has been the director of the Paris School from 2007 to 2013. Before that, he was the chief economist and senior vice-president of the World Bank in Washington. His work has received several scientific distinctions during his career.
