Giorgos Papandreou, ex Primo Ministro greco (2009-2011), è deputato del PASOK/Movimento del Cambiamento e Relatore generale per la Democrazia presso l'Assemblea Parlamentare del Consiglio d'Europa. Già Ministro degli Affari Esteri e dell'Istruzione, ha guidato l'Internazionale Socialista (2006-2022) e promuove la democrazia partecipativa, l'educazione civica e la Tregua Olimpica in qualità di Presidente dell'International Olympic Truce Centre.

George Papandreou, former Greek PM (2009–2011), is an MP with PASOK/Movement of Change and General Rapporteur for Democracy at the Council of Europe's Parliamentary Assembly. A former Foreign Affairs and Education Minister, he led Socialist International (2006–2022) and champions participatory democracy, civic education as well as Olympic Truce in his capacity as Chairman of the International Olympic Truce Centre.
