Richard Baldwin

Biography

Professor of International Economics at the Graduate Institute of Geneva since 1991, and editor-in-chief of Vox since he founded it in June 2007. He is an advisor to governments and international organizations around the world. He is the author of numerous books and articles on international trade, globalization, regionalism and European integration. He has been a member of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Stewardship Board on Trade and Investment Issues since 2016, after serving as a member of the WEF Global Agenda Council on Trade from 2009 to 2015. He has been a member of the Academic Advisory Board of the Research Institute of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan (RIETI) in Tokyo since 2011.
