Toward the Festival with schools

A series of meetings leading up to the International Festival of Economics to understand the different fields of application of economic theories and stimulate students’ interest in crucial issues for their future.

Organized by the faculty and the Allievi Association of Collegio Carlo Alberto, and the Education Area of Unione Industriali Torino.

YouTrend workshops – in collaboration with Legacoop

Through thematic meetings, girls and boys will be actively involved in discussions with the aim of enhancing analytical skills and understanding of complex phenomena of our society.

They will learn how to create content from data, exploring the concept of reliable sources and effective collection and presentation. Thanks to a mini-workshop, it will be possible to put the skills learned into practice.

Allievi Association – in collaboration with Legacoop

How much do our actions affect our future? Does money really make us happy?

Through an informal and engaging discussion, high school students will explore with the Allievi common stereotypes regarding economics and finance: in addition to offering practical advice on personal financial management, with a focus on the importance of investing and preventing scams, we will also address economic issues with a gender perspective, to better understand wage inequality and the factors that underpin it.

Allievi Association Summer School

Starting in 2019, the Allievi Association organizes a training and orientation summer school dedicated to 4th grade students.

Through group activities, interactive lectures and workshops, conducted in both Italian and English by the Collegio Carlo Alberto faculty, participants are invited to explore the fields of economics and finance.

Looking forward to the new edition, to be held in September 2024, find out about the 2023 program on the dedicated page.
