Biography

Elena Carletti is a Professor of Finance and Dean for Research at “Bocconi University. She is Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of UniCredit Group, where she also chairs the Risk Committee, and a member of the European Parliament’s Banking Supervision Expert Group. She is also the director of the Banking and Corporate Finance program at the Centre for Economic Policy Research. She is the Founding Director of the Florence School of Banking and Finance at the” European University Institute and has been President of the European Finance Association. She has been a member of the Scientific Advisory Committee of the European Systemic Risk Board (ESRB).
